SANTA’S VILLAGE, NORTH POLE — The peppermint lampposts have been polished, the gingerbread gutters cleaned, and the North Pole’s famous Candy-Cane Clock Tower has officially “sprung forward” into summer mode.
As warm sunlight stretches longer across the polar skyline (a relative term — it’s still 15°F), Santa’s Village is buzzing with excitement, preparation, and a splash of well-earned relaxation. With the summer season underway, the Claus Administration has issued its first round of official updates, affecting everything from elf schedules to sleigh fuel conservation.
🧊 Frosty Facelift for Elf Housing
In an effort to improve comfort and energy efficiency, Santa’s Village has approved a long-awaited update to elf housing infrastructure. New triple-layered gumdrop insulation is being installed across Elf Dorm Rows A through J, and hot cocoa-powered floor heating is rolling out before the end of July.
“It’s not just about staying cozy,” said Marzipan Tinkletree, Housing & Candy Architecture Coordinator. “It’s about sustainability — and making sure no elf wakes up with frosted toes in June.”
Construction is being led by the Snowbrick & Ribbon Guild, with all materials sourced locally from the Jellybean Quarry and the Sugarplum Forest.
🛷 Santa’s Summer Training Begins
Santa Claus may be the master of winter logistics, but that doesn’t mean he skips summer prep. This week, he began his annual sleigh simulation sessions, joined by Reindeer Flight Division instructors and his personal trainer, Twinkle Buffcheeks.
“People forget how physically demanding chimney drops are,” Twinkle said. “That’s why we focus on agility drills, toy-tossing mechanics, and sleigh balance — with weighted sacks of marshmallows.”
Mrs. Claus has added a new “Santa Snack” protein bar to his summer regimen, featuring oats, peppermint, and 24 grams of holly-berry protein.

🧁 Mrs. Claus’s Kitchen Renovation Nears Completion
The famous Mrs. Claus’s Kitchen is undergoing its largest update in centuries. The renovation includes 3 new ovens, an experimental frosting lab, and a “Tinsel Test Table” for community-approved recipes.
“I wanted to make room for more apprentices and more ginger joy,” said Mrs. Claus. “Summer is when we test cookie trends — and yes, this year’s top flavor is Blueberry Meringue Surprise.”
❄️ The Final Flake
With every sparkling update — from peppermint path expansions to upgraded cocoa pipes — Santa’s Village remains a place of joy, invention, and holiday cheer.
