As the sleigh calendar rounds the corner on summer and points firmly toward December, the North Pole has officially launched its newest community initiative: Project CheerCheck, a joy-fueled program designed to expand the Naughty and Nice monitoring network using one of the world’s most powerful forces—moms.
The program, developed in partnership with the Department of Sleigh Security and the Joy Distribution Taskforce, aims to boost year-round behavior awareness by empowering parents with magical reporting tools (peppermint-approved, of course) and direct lines to Scout Elf liaisons.
And leading the charge? Three remarkable moms already making waves—and lists.
🎄 Rebecca (35) – Triple the Trouble, Triple the Cheer
With three energetic boys under the age of 10, Rebecca’s household is what elf analysts describe as “high volume, high velocity.” But that didn’t stop her from becoming one of the first to volunteer for CheerCheck testing.
“My house is like a snow globe that’s been permanently shaken,” she laughs. “But I love the chance to encourage better choices with some North Pole sparkle.”
Rebecca implemented “Joy Jars”—glow-in-the-dark jars that light up when kind behavior is spotted. “The boys started racing to be the first to make it glow. It’s changed the whole bedtime game,” she said. Rebecca’s custom Naughty and Nice chart now includes columns for spontaneous hugs and creative cocoa clean-ups.
🎄 Lindsey (34) – Balancing Brilliance
Mom to a boy and girl ages 6 and 8, Lindsey is a spreadsheet wizard and holiday enthusiast who quickly turned CheerCheck into a family ritual. She even decorated her family’s entryway with a miniature “Joy Depot,” where good deeds can be logged via sticker stars and candy cane codes.
“The key is balance,” she explained. “They’re competitive, but in the end, they want to help each other shine. It’s not about punishment—it’s about progress.”
Lindsey’s biggest breakthrough? Turning sibling rivalry into a team challenge: “When they both get five stars, we earn a family snowball movie night. With whipped cream, obviously.”
🎄 Heather (31) – One Hand on the Chart, One on the Baby Bump
Currently parenting a boy and a girl while preparing to welcome another little boy before the holidays, Heather jokes that her Naughty and Nice efforts are powered by “Christmas cookies and sheer determination.”
Using her signature “Kindness Countdown Chain,” Heather’s family tracks good deeds with colorful paper links that will stretch all the way to the nursery door by Christmas Eve. “It’s helping them feel connected to the baby already,” she said. “Every act of kindness is one step closer to a snuggle with their baby brother.”
Heather has also added a “Mama Sleighpass” system, where her children can earn special helper badges by assisting with baby prep and household chores.
🧵 Stitched Together by Spirit
The North Pole is closely monitoring the CheerCheck pilot, and early reports show a 22% boost in proactive kindness, a 34% drop in toy squabbles, and a significant increase in glittery gold stars across the board.
“These moms are incredible,” said Joy Taskforce liaison Crispin Jollyjot. “They’re doing the work of elves—with fewer naps and more coffee.”
As the program expands, the North Pole encourages more parents, guardians, and caregivers to join the cheerforce. Because the Nice List isn’t just about December—it’s about everyday magic made at home.
